As a teenager my main sport was football, which I played and coached, playing competitively for Arsenal FC for eight years.
MY JOURNEY
Happiness is an inside job
playing competitively for Arsenal FC for eight years.
After a teaching degree in Physical Education I worked in the media and voluntary sectors before having children.
After having the kids, I developed a serious running habit and decided to retrain as a Personal Trainer.
Since qualifying as a Personal Trainer in 2012, I've worked with a diverse variety of people, supporting them to reach their own personal fitness goals.
Along the way I discovered a passion for teaching group exercise and found that I really love to deliver classes. Running is still my first love and I've completed 13 marathons in different cities around the world.
My aim is to make sessions fun, varied and achievable; using a range of different styles and approaches to keep things interesting. This translates into group classes as well as one to one sessions.
I truly believe that exercise impacts positively on both physical and mental health. It increases self esteem and confidence and will improve the quality of your life.
Happiness really is an inside job!
