The Arena and management have a strong affinity and commitment to supporting the entire North East region. The NEC in Birmingham is regularly voted the UK’s most popular exhibition centre and it’s easy to see why. It was officially opened over 40 years ago by HM The Queen in 1976. Since then it’s significantly grown both in size and reputation and today has 18 exhibition halls compared to it’s original 7. Besides all that, there are now an additional 32 conference suites as well as a plethora of outdoor spaces to explore. The flexible spacing on offer can cater for up to 500 different events a year, welcoming 2.4 million guests.
