THE BOAT SHOW
SOUTHAMPTON
CLIENT AIM
An annual event for Volvo Penta, their presence at the Southampton Boat Show has become ubiquitous. As such a huge and well recognised brand, their stand has to make an impact in order to sell their cutting edge yacht engines to the sailing community. It's important that this bespoke stand is both impressive and practical in order to demonstrate their expertise and standing in the market. It's also essential that it provides a comfortable environment for their sales team to meet and greet existing as well as prospective clients.

OUR CHALLENGE
This year will be the fifth year this stand has been installed at the Southampton Boat Show with alterations each time to accommodate the changing nature of the product and needs of the business.

At 17x13 metres it covers a large multi -functional area comprising adjustable flooring sections to allow for the gradient at the venue and that can also carry the huge weight of the Volvo yacht engines. To maximise economy the components have to be flexible enough to be utilised at two other shows, but also easily storable at our Kent facility.

Building at the Southampton Boat Show is the greatest challenge due to the unpredictability of the British weather and being situated right on the Solent.

A bespoke marquee over the whole of the exhibition stand with glazed panels to the front and back ensure that visitors and components are safe from the elements. The back area also accommodates a private meeting room, kitchen, store and open lounge.

" We’ve been working with Glass Shed at both Seawork and Southampton International Boat Shows for five years now and think
that says all you need to know about how happy we are with the service we get from Steve and his team.
Nothing is ever too much trouble and their attention to detail is always second to none.
We have built up a good working relationship with Glass Shed and would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone.”
